minutesOld fashioned rice pudding is extra fluffy by whipping egg whites to stiff peaks and gently folding the rice egg custard mixture into the airy egg whites.
Serve individual bowls of rice pudding with a spoon of whipped cream, and dash of cinnamon, for a creamy rice pudding everyone will love.
Ingredients
2 cups white rice
6 cups of milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
4 egg yolks beaten
3 tablespoons cornstarch
4 egg whites
2 tablespoons vanilla
3 tablespoons of sugar
cinnamon
How To Cook Rice Pudding – Directions
- Cook rice according to directions on package
- In a large sauce pan whisk together milk, sugar, nutmeg, egg yolks and cornstarch.
- Bring mixture to a boil, don’t stop whisking.
- Boil mixture for 1 minute until thickened. Transfer cooked pudding to large bowl.
- Whip egg whites with vanilla and sugar until stiff peaks are formed.
- Mix cooked rice into warm pudding
- Fold in half of the egg whites into the cooked rice mixture. Mix until it is almost blended. Finish folding in the other haft of the egg whites.
- Serves 8-12

- How to serve rice Pudding? Fill individual bowls with one serving of rice pudding, top with a dash of cinnamon.
